I found myself lost and in the very darkest of times while going through a confusing divorce. What was I... if I wasn't a wife or a full-time stay at home mom?

KIM'S Story

I spent new founded time at coastal Florida beaches, hunting shells. I felt complete  peace and serenity found in the unique nature of them, and each one collected was a new memory art token to be created and learning something new at every adventure. So I began to feel alive again. I started creating up-cycled art work which gained fans quickly. It wasn't long before I started selling these pieces at local beach events.

THAT'S HOW Be Mer-Mazing WAS BORN. I created a logo, a website, and a boutique line for the online store. My logo symbolizes rising above and not allowing the anchors in life to hold you down. The shell above her head is for my shell of a son, the beautiful blue eyes are for my daughter and her inner beauty. The tail is dedicated to my father's love of fishing, and the turquoise is in honor of my mother who passed away.

We all go through dark times. I want Be Mer-Mazing to be more than just a product line. I want it to be a community of positive Mermaid lovers sharing their story's of when they rose above life's anchors. A place where awareness is brought to mental health and disabilities, some of life's most difficult anchors.

A percent of our proceeds go to ocean cleanup and environmental awareness, and our products are made from recycled materials so we can all feel like we are contributing to this important cause.

Thank you for reading, you are Mer-Mazing.
